Membership to scenariobasket.com is free and can be created directly by anyone. The platform is available for use worldwide.

Additionally, thanks to the platform's up-to-date security measures, users are enabled to share their ideas safely. Scenariobasket.com also makes collaboration easier by ensuring script files are complete and ready for a fast production process. With its free Time Stamp service, it supports the protection of works by precisely determining the time when they were created, edited and shared. In this way, the platform continues to be an important step towards creators showcasing and bringing their works to life.

To become a member of scenariobasket.com, you need to click on the "Sign Up" tab and accurately fill in the required information. This includes your name, surname, email address, country and city information, phone number, username, and password. Additionally, to complete the membership process, you will be asked to read and approve the Writer Protocol, Reader Protocol and Personal Data Protection Law & Privacy Agreement. To finalize your membership, you will need to enter the verification codes sent via email and SMS into the system.

When you provide your login information when registering to the platform, both your writer and reader profiles are automatically created. Therefore, you do not need to create a separate screenwriter profile. Every profile registered to the platform can upload their scripts from the writer panel and follow the scripts they upload. Likewise, the reader can access and communicate with the uploaded scripts from the panel.

You can use the "Profile Settings" tab in the writer panel or reader panel to edit your profile. From this tab, you can make any edits you want to your profile.

There is no membership fee. The platform is provided to users free of charge.

There is only one type of membership on the platform, and this membership type is free. With this membership, both your writer panel and reader panel are automatically created. Each user benefits from the same membership advantages and has access to all features on the platform.

Uploading scripts that contain obscene, violent, hate-filled, terrorist, or illegal elements is strictly prohibited on our platform. However, apart from these, there are no restrictions or limitations on script types.

To search on the platform, you can use the search menu on the homepage. You can search by script name or perform a detailed search using various filters available on the scripts page. Among the filters, you can select script language, project type, main category, sub-category, creation date, target audience, script time, CGI usage, whether it includes extreme scenes (in production), scripts with child, elderly, or pet actors, or filter by the number of characters.

The copyright to each script on the platform belongs to the respective owner of the script. The upload dates and update statuses of scripts can be determined and tracked with a timestamp. When violations of license rules or illegal uses are detected, legal action may be initiated by the copyright owner or the platform. However, those who wish to hold the copyright to the scripts on the platform can purchase these rights through agreements made between parties. Timestamping is a service that automatically stamps the entire contents of any PDF file with SHA256 encryption to verify the integrity and originality of the content.

A producer who purchased the script on the platform can use the script with permission from the copyright holder. This permission allows the producer to use the script for commercial purposes, such as filming it or using it in other ways. However, depending on the terms of the agreement between the copyright holder and the producer, the scope and duration of usage are determined. An agreement can be made between the writer and the reader regarding the purchase of copyright. Only the parties are responsible for this agreement. When using the copyright, the producer must act in accordance with the permissions granted by the copyright holder and the specified terms.

To upload your screenplay, you need to go to the "Add Scenario" page and fill in the necessary information. In the scenario details, you should specify the scenario name, language, project type, main category, sub-category, style, creation date, target audience, page count, character count, setting, CGI usage, presence of extreme scenes (in production), child, elderly, and pet actors, etc. Additionally, you should upload the poster of the screenplay in jpg, png, jpeg, or webp format, and provide a logline and an area summary of the project. FP (First Page) in the visual presentation is the image format of the first page of the screenplay. SP (Sample Page) is the image format of any sample page chosen by the screenwriter from the screenplay. These 5 categories are very important in the visual presentation. When uploading the screenplay file, you should merge the Poster - Logline (a single-sentence summary of the screenplay) - Area (a 5-sentence summary of the screenplay) - Synopsis - Character analysis - Treatment (if any) - Screenplay File - Trailer/teaser screenplay (if any) with the writer contact files using a PDF merger and then proceed with the upload. After reading and accepting all protocols, the screenplay file will be uploaded and await approval.

To share the script on the platform, you can copy the link from the page where the script is located in your browser's address bar. Then, you can share this link on any platform you want (e.g., email, social media, messaging apps, etc.). This way, other users can access the script through this link.

To edit your script, go to the Writer Panel page and click on the "My Scripts" tab. Then, click on the edit icon next to the script you want to edit. This way, you can update the details of your script and save the changes.

To delete your script, go to the Writer Panel page and click on the "My Scripts" tab. Then, click on the delete icon next to the script you want to delete. This way, you can remove your script from the platform.

Your script can be seen on the platform in two levels: publicly and privately. Public scripts are visible to all users on the platform, while private scripts are only visible to you. You can control the visibility of your script by setting its privacy level during the upload process or by editing its details later.

To download your script, go to the Writer Panel page and click on the \"My Scripts\" tab. Then, click on the edit icon next to the script you want to download. Click on the \"All Projects\" tab on the \"Script Edit\" page to access the link where you can download your script. Click on this link to download your script to your computer.

Share on Social Media: Share the link to your script on your social media accounts to reach a wider audience. You can especially promote your script in groups or forums related to the film industry.

The process of contacting producers on our platform is predefined. Users download the 'All Projects' file with the 'access and communication' option of the relevant script file from the reader panel. They may want to contact the writer using the writer's contact information found in the file content. There is no direct access for writers to registered producers on the platform, those working on behalf of producers, or managers representing the writer. This process is established to maintain user privacy and control the communication process.

There is a specific process to contact writers on our platform. Users can download the 'All Projects' file with the 'access and communication' option of the relevant script file. Then, they can contact the writer using the writer's contact information found in the file content.

Yes, you can translate scripts on our platform into different languages. However, you need to translate the selected script entirely into the language you choose. You can use professional translation services or AI applications to complete the translation process. This way, you can present scripts in various languages on our platform and reach a wider audience of producers/managers.

There is only one service on our platform that supports - protects the copyrights of scripts: Timestamp. This service is provided free of charge to writers. Timestamp automatically stamps the entire contents of any PDF file uploaded and merged by the writer in the 'All Projects' tab with SHA256 encryption. This ensures the integrity and originality of the script.

Timestamp, along with SHA256 encryption, provides an opportunity to verify the authenticity of the script by using the scenariobasket.com/verifyForm link when necessary. SHA256 encryption is a powerful and global cryptographic algorithm used to ensure data integrity and originality.

The SHA256 encryption provided with the Timestamp is used to prove that the file has not changed and existed on a specific date. However, sometimes courts may not accept timestamps and hash values alone as definitive evidence. The claimant may need to prove ownership of copyright, intellectual property, or patent for the file. Afterwards, to download your scenario to your device, you can use the 'Download Your Scenario' option under the 'all projects' tab. The name and content of the scenario file must not be altered, otherwise the verification will fail. Simply selecting the scenario you downloaded on the verification screen and initiating verification will suffice. Upon successful verification, you can download your certificate generated in your name and in your preferred language.

The preview of your script file is publicly available on the platform and includes presentation lines for the project. This preview includes the poster of the project, logline (one-sentence summary), area (three-sentence summary), the first page of the script, and any page from inside the script.

However, access to more detailed parts of the script, its synopsis, character analysis, treatment (if any), the entire script document, trailer or teaser script is possible with the 'Access and Communication' option. The information of those who access with this option is kept confidential on the platform.

This preview is the minimum information that any script file should be used in presentation and marketing. However, processes and permission mechanisms for more granular access can help prevent your entire script from being stolen.

The income generated from the Access & Communication transaction is a fixed amount for each scenario and does not vary from one scenario to another. You can find the current Access & Communication fee information on the relevant tab. After deductions for intermediary payment institutions, banks, and public institutions, 30% of the amount obtained is retained on the platform, and 70% is transferred to the writer's account. This arrangement ensures fair financial sharing of the services provided by the platform.

The process of transferring your money from the platform to your own account is carried out by tracking your entitlements through the 'Access & Communication' tab on the Writer Panel page. When Access & Communication payments and processes are completed smoothly, the intermediary institution automatically transfers the amount to your account. This process is usually completed within 30 business days.

To download scripts available on the platform, go to the page where the relevant script is located. Then, if you want to access the entire script by reviewing the Poster, Logline, and Area documents, you can use the 'Access & Communication' option. This option is located below the preview section of the scripts.

After the Access & Communication process, access to the script file is provided for reading purposes only for a specified fee. The Access & Communication fee is paid to contact the writer and access the entire script file. The script files obtained for this fee are provided only for reading purposes. However, a separate agreement with the writer is required for the script to be filmed or used for other purposes. The details and responsibilities of these agreements are determined between the reader and the writer and are executed only by the parties.

There are certain conditions for refunding the Access & Communication payment:

1. Content Errors: If the reader realizes that the script obtained through access & communication contains incomplete or incorrect content, they can request a refund.

2. Unauthorized Use: If the reader determines that the script obtained through access & communication belongs to another writer or has been uploaded without permission, they can return the script.

3. Withdrawn Content: If the reader realizes that the script obtained through access & communication has become public before, they can request a refund of the access & communication fee.

Refund Process: Refund requests must be made through appropriate communication channels or through the platform within a specified period. However, misuse of scripts or inappropriate requests may invalidate the refund process. The platform reserves these rights.

Our platform does not guarantee the originality of uploaded scripts. The content and intellectual property rights of each uploaded script belong to the uploader, who bears full responsibility in this regard.

In case of any legal violation or copyright infringement regarding the content or sources of a script uploaded by another person, all responsibility lies with the uploader.

Any reader accessing the script file through the access and communication option can request a refund and/or resort to other legal remedies if they detect copyright infringement.
