Maybe Next Time is a warm, chaotic British comedy about a cynical local-news editor and his relentlessly optimistic partner whose dream rescue-dog adoption goes spectacularly wrong. A massive mix-up, meddling family, and an indoor barbecue turn one ordinary day into a fire-lit test of love, compromise, and whether they can survive their new dog.
